If you stop each week and take a closer look at the condition of your car tires after the tire pressure indicator light comes on, you will reduce the chances of a tire trouble. Here are a few things to consider about your car tires.

  • Be sure to check the tire tread is not separating from the rest of the car tire. If this is evident, it could be that the tire may be defective.
  • Look for uneven wear on the tires. This is an indication something is serious and it won't take much for the tire to fail.
  • If you notice something is stuck in the tire, forget about plugging the tire. Those plugs are not a permanent fix and could compromise your safety at high speeds.

You can also schedule an appointment for a tire rotation in our service center at Crest Lincoln so we can get eyes on the pressure indicators to make sure they are operational.
